' I have worked with the MERT team at the annual Highland Field Sports Fair which takes place near to inverness. I am part of the Team which plans and organises the event and have found the Team to be very committed and organised. They provided detailed and factual pre event information and prepare a Medical plan which addresses the necessary key points and is acceptable to the necessary statutory authorities.

Whilst on site at the event, they always attend timeously, are in possession of all the necessary equipment, have experienced medical staff and react very professionally when dealing with medical casualties.

The team from MERT have provided us with medical support for our event for several years and the service has always been of the highest standard. They have provided superb continuity year on year which has meant a great relationship between our team and the MERT volunteers.

The pre-planning of what is a logistically complex event with a course running over 180 miles has year on year ensured the right resources are located at appropriate positions and the team structure enables a single point of contact for the event (for volunteers and participants) with good communication to coordinate responses ensuring effective cover with timely responses when required.

MERT are always reliable with teams positioned in good time making sure the medical safety of everyone is given the best attention for the duration of the event, as a team they require minimal input from us as event managers but always produce the goods, it’s great to have them working with us!

We have used Medical & Emergency Response Team for several years. The team plans and manages all our site medical requirements attending local authority meetings and providing appropriate documentation for licensing sign off.
